  • Established China Hongxing Sports Limited to manufacture and sell sports shoes under Erke brand name
  • Embarked on brand building, endorsing Hong Kong celebrity Jordan Chan as spokesperson
  • Adopted SI Special Retailing System for brand building and uniformity across the PRC
  • Added sports accessories including socks and caps to our range of products
  • Appoint third party distributors to retail Erke sports shoes in Erke specialty stores with 19 distributors and 406 stores as at end 2001
  • Expanded to 670 stores by end of 2002
  • Added sports apparel to our range of products
  • Established Hongrong Light Industry and acquired land for setting up of new production facilities
